Building Management Systems

Building Management System is a control system which is computer-based. It is installed in buildings and it helps to control and monitor the buildings electrical and mechanical equipment like power systems, lighting, ventilation, security systems, access control systems and fire systems to say the list. The list of its applications could be longer. Systems connected to a BMS mainly represent 40% of a building's energy usage. This approaches to 70% when lighting is included. BMS systems are very important at managing energy demand. This is ELV or low current solution which makes it highly energy efficient. BMS is highly used in office premises as well for access control. Using BMS, one can automatically authorize only the authorized person to enter a certain part or room of a building premise.
